Health & Fitness Issues
This is a powerpoint from a class I attended on June 14, 2014, presented by my upline. In this presentation, Ashley covers what she learned about treating ADD, ADHD, Autism and other Neurological issues naturally. She outlines her thorough research and her family's experience in dealing with her son's ADHD. This includes resources and supplements they used, which also includes some Young Living Essential Oils and Supplements. |

Here's a little something fun. This is my husband, Mark, presenting a wellness program he designed for reviving conferences/staff meetings and teaching participants a quick office workout they can do throughout each work day. He conducts these "SHARK attacks!" as requested at our facility. SHARK is an acronym for Shaping Healthy Attitudes Regarding Kinetics.

I don't believe in quick weight loss methods for permanent weight loss; I realize we don't gain weight overnight, we can't lose it overnight and long-term strategies for weight loss/control requires lifestyle changes, proper diet, and exercise. There are times however when temptations abound, we allow ourselves dietary "cheats" and we lack time to squeeze in optimal physical activity to offset any damage. I like to add Slique Essence to my water for the taste alone, however I especially love adding during nutritionally-chaotic times, to help keep my weight from spiraling out of control.

We like to run and it took awhile after this marathon, to get back into the swing of things; after 26.2 miles, we scratched that off our bucket list and done! We've no desire to ever run another and have great admiration for those who do. Mark had a knee injury, uncertain what he did, but suffered through it for years. After this race, he had surgery to repair a torn meniscus, while I learned one of my legs is shorter than the other, as a result of breaking my femur in my teens. The podiatrist explained that my hips try to align, resulting in a raised arch, if I don't wear an insert, my hip and arch suffer. I only wear an insert in my running shoes, not the vast array of dress shoes, it's just not convenient. I used to suffer through, now I just oil up; PanAway and Deep Relief are my oils of choice.
